Sonoran Desert

In December 2015, I was in Arizona for a convention and spent one extra day exploring the Sonoran desert. This was a great time of year to be there since it wasn't hot -- actually snowed in the mountains outside Phoenix a little just before I was there! I visited Sonoran Desert National Monument for sunset, then Tonto National Monument with its amazing ancient cave dwellings, and finally Saguaro National Park near Tucson. Very unique and amazing landscape!
