Ramona Falls & East Zigzag Mtn

For the summer of 2020, since I couldn’t travel internationally as I usually do, I decided to do as much hiking in the beautiful local Cascades as possible. For the first weekend in July I headed to Mt Hood and hiked two nearby trails. Ramona Falls is insanely popular, but I beat the crowds by starting before 6am and had the trail almost all to myself. Then I hiked to Burnt Lake and East Zigzag Mountain for incredible views of the southwest side of Hood. I’m particularly pleased with the last photo in this gallery – that one is definitely going to be printed and hung on my wall!
