Kauai: The Garden Isle

Back in 2011 I visited the incredible garden island of Kauai for just a few days, and was amazed by the beauty there! I've been wanting to return and re-shoot here for several years and finally got the opportunity to do so. Since the local beauty seems to be pretty much matched by the cost, I only planned three days, but was blessed by overall decent weather and some of the most incredible photo opportunities of the year. I was blown away by full rainbows at Waimea Canyon, also known as the Grand Canyon of the Pacific... and experienced an unforgettable rainbow at sunset overlooking the stunning and remote Kalalau Valley. I also took a scenic air tour with Wings over Kauai, yielding some amazing views of the island, including remote parts which can only be seen by air. Truly an unforgettable destination!
