Blue Lakes

After visiting Black Canyon National Park, I started out at sunrise on the Blue Lakes trail, in the beautiful San Juan Mountains near Telluride. This trail was easily the most beautiful area I've ever seen in Colorado... rivaling almost anywhere else in the world that I've seen for beauty. It has unfortunately become too popular and will likely be restricted with permits in the near future... which was partly why I wanted to be sure to hike it this year! I was blessed with incredible weather and light, along with fields of wildflowers at peak.
