South Dakota

In June 2020, I had been planning to travel to Ireland, but due to tourist closures and quarantine requirements it had to be postponed. Instead I went to South Dakota to visit my parents who live in the beautiful Black Hills. While there we drove down into Nebraska and visited Toadstool Geological Park, a very cool and little known area with many strange formations. We also spent a couple days in the Badlands, and I did some local hiking and wildlife viewing in Custer.
