Thailand

In November 2017 I traveled to the enchanting country of Thailand with some friends. This was my first time in Asia proper, very different from anywhere else I'd ever been! We started in Phuket, exploring Phang Nga Bay, the Phi Phi Islands and the jungle complete with an elephant ride. Then we flew north to Chiang Mai where we visited Doi Inthanon National Park along with lots of temples and some archaeological sites. One day tour took us all the way up to Chiang Rai and the golden triangle where Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar meet. We couldn't cross into Myanmar, but did visit Laos for about 30 minutes.
