Lake Blanche

Since moving to Utah, I've been enjoying the amazing Wasatch mountains which are only 2-3 hours drive from my house. The beauty here rivals anywhere else I've hiked. For my third venture into the range, I chose Lake Blanche - a relatively short but steep 6.5 mile round trip with 2,700ft elevation gain. I discovered this trail is full of aspens all the way up and around the lake, so I plan to return a bit later in the year when they turn color!
