Great Basin National Park
After enjoying the incredible drone views in Utah, I drove a few more hours west into Nevada and stayed overnight in the tiny town of Baker. Just outside town is the remote and isolated Great Basin National Park. I hiked a bit both late afternoon and morning. The views are very nice, especially up in the ancient bristlecone grove, including trees that were already a couple hundred years old when King David reigned... and are still alive. While all National Parks are beautiful, and Great Basin is worth a stop if you're passing through... I can't say that I have a burden to go back after having seen it once.
