Shasta and Castle Crags

After my day on the lost coast, I drove inland while a rainstorm passed through. Late afternoon it started clearing so I hiked up to Heart Lake hoping to see Shasta. While it did clear some I didn't get to see the whole mountain. I came back two days later after backpacking into the Trinity Alps and enjoyed awesome views in the Castle Crags Wilderness and the beautiful Mt Shasta.
