Greece VI - Epidavros and Mycenae
Driving south from Athens, we explored into the beautiful Peloponnese. After a brief stop at the ancient port of Corinth, we enjoyed a number of stops through the beautiful green mountains. Our first archaeological site was Epidavros, dating to 6th century BC and famous for its healing sanctuary and incredibly well preserved theater. Continuing further into the heart of the Peloponnese, we visited Mycenae, dating to around 14th century BC. This was a real favorite -- incredible excavations and a dramatically beautiful location.
