French Riviera and Costa Brava, Spain

On our second day touring in France, my mom and I woke up early for sunrise at Collioure, a beautiful French village right on the Mediterranean coast at the Pyranee foothills. After several hours exploring this beautiful spot, we drove leisurely south along the French Riviera coast and then into Spain ultimately down to La Selva del Mar. We then visited the dramatic Monestir de Sant Pere de Rodes set high above the coast along with the Castell de Sant Salvador de Verdera above it, and the Ermita de Santa Helena de Rodes nearby as well.
