Leslie Gulch
At the end of June 2024, I left home on the longest road trip I've taken so far... planning to be gone for six weeks. Since my job is now fully remote, it gives me the freedom to spend time with family in various places while still maintaining normal work schedules. I started by heading to Boise for two weeks with my cousin and his family. On the way I stopped at the remote and beautiful Leslie Gulch in far eastern Oregon. This beautiful canyon looks more like something you'd find in Utah... a real gem in an otherwise rather desolate region. This is well worth a visit if you're in the area, or if you want somewhere nice to camp in off season when the mountains aren't accesible.
