Green River Valley

After leaving my cousin's house in Idaho, I headed east into Wyoming to catch a couple day hikes that were still on my list. I spent a full enjoying the beautiful Green River valley on the western edge of the Wind River range. This is one of my favorite mountain ranges -- so picturesque and uncrowded, despite its proximity to the Tetons. I'd planned to hike here a few years ago, but had postponed it due to wildfire smoke. Thankfully this time, while fires and smoke were starting to affect conditions off and on, the day turned out clear and beautiful so I was able to get the shots of Squaretop Mountain and the Green River that I had been hoping for.
