Columbia Gorge Wildflowers 2024

Each spring, the lush winter rains here in Oregon turn the Columbia River Gorge into a paradise of lush green and wildflowers. This year I explored a couple different trails I hadn't hiked before and enjoyed a beautiful sunrise at Rowena Crest overlooking the river. After sunset the night before I drove a little ways southeast of the Dalles and happened across a picturesque abandoned church built in 1895, making the perfect foreground for moonlit star trails.
