Albion Basin, Utah

A few weeks ago I heard about this amazing location from social media. My son was visiting for a couple weeks so we got up very early, arriving about 5am at the parking lot, located around 9,000ft elevation in a ski resort basin just east of Salt Lake City. The views and wildflowers were absolutely amazing, including Cecret Lake (yes, that's the correct spelling), which delivered perfect mirror reflections for us. We were very glad to have gone early - by the time we left around 10am there was nearly a mile long line of traffic waiting to get in!
