At these latitudes, auroras are present most nights, many times filling the sky in every direction, and photographing them is insanely addictive (I'm already dreaming up my next aurora trip LOL!). Lofoten offers stunning foregrounds to go with its aurora, along with enemy number 1 - clouds. Most of the time we were in Lofoten the weather was quite poor, but thankfully we had some breaks between storms on a few nights, as well as two nights which ended up being clear at least half the night. While I will never get enough of watching or photographing the aurora, I was quite pleased with what we were privileged to capture!
