Three Sisters & Broken Top

For my second 2020 hiking weekend I picked a trail which I’d done a number of years ago in the Three Sisters Wilderness…but this time I went much further. By the time it was said and done I set an all time record, hiking 21 miles with about 3,000ft elevation change! I ended up discovering one of the most incredible stretches of trail I’ve ever hiked in Oregon right under the summit of Broken Top. There was literally everything you could ask for – panoramic views of Broken Top, Three Sisters, Washington, and Jefferson with crystal clear creeks and waterfalls, wildflowers, and high mountain lakes.
