Silver Star Mountain

I've heard about this beautiful mountain just outside the Portland area for many years and finally got a chance to hike it. I took a day off and hiked during the week to enjoy wonderful solitude with only a handful of other hikers on the trail! There's a beargrass superbloom going on this year...the meadows are absolutely covered with beautiful flowers and butterflies...so amazing!
