Island of Hawaii

In December 2022, I was privileged to return to Hawaii after an eight year absence. I've previously visited all four main islands, but it had been awhile as other travel had taken priority. For this trip I flew to Kauai first for three days, then hopped over to the Big Island of Hawaii for a week. During most of that time I worked remote and just enjoyed relaxing along with the delectable local fruit. On the weekend I enjoyed cruising in the convertible my rental company gave me a free upgrade to (thanks Avis!) and captured more fantastic scenery. Just before I left, a huge storm came through which dumped a foot or so of snow on the 13,800ft peaks of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa. As I was heading to the airport to fly home, it was amazing to see a white Christmas in Hawaii!
