Pinnacles National Park

While I was in Central California visiting Big Sur, I decided to check out one of America's newest National Parks which is just inland from that coastline. This turned out to be a very unique landscape...reminding me in some ways of South Dakota, though rather different flora and fauna since the climate is much warmer. This park is home to a number of the highly endangered California Condors, of which only about 500 exist in the world.
