In March 2017 I made a weekend trip to Las Vegas, but not for the reason most people go. I stayed as far away from the strip as I could, and headed east to the incredible, and little known Valley of Fire State Park. This stunning landscape holds a number of hidden arches and formations that can only be found if you know where to look. Thankfully I'd found a photographers guide which enabled me to find a number of them! Definitely one of my favorite shoots in the American Southwest. The next day I explored Red Rock Canyon on the west side of Vegas which was also very beautiful.
